Find Me Gluten Free
Setting Up Your Profile
Editing Your Profile
You can edit and update your profile at any time on Find Me Gluten Free! This is a great step to take when first joining the community, but many people may discover new dietary restrictions or develop new preferences over time, so don't forget to update this section if anything changes!
First tap the "More" tab in the bottom right corner. Then tap "Edit Profile".
Here you can edit details such as your name, username, bio, and add a website (optional).
You can also edit why you are gluten-free, and how strict you are about cross-contact. Learn more about what this means and why it is important on our self-identifying page.
Choosing Your Dietary Preferences
It's important to select your self-identifiers and dietary preferences so that you can find information based on your specific needs and preferences.
On the Edit Profile page, you'll also find the option to add any other dietary preferences.
Tap "Other Dietary Preferences" and simply slide the applicable preferences for you.
Moving the slider to the far left means you do not follow that preference.
Moving the slider to the far right means you strictly follow that preference.
Depending on where you slide, your answer will be that you follow that preference: never, sometimes, often or always.
You can adjust or update these preferences any time you need to!
Other Dietary Preferences
This feature shows insights on your other dietary preferences on any listing.
On any listing, tap "Other Dietary Preferences" to view more insights specific to your diet.
You'll see reviews from people who have reported the same dietary preferences as you, or who have reported on that preference for that listing.
Each review from someone with a dietary preference or report on that option is equal to 1 point.
Positive reviews and reports equal a positive point, negative reviews and reports equal a negative point.
The Summary section shows the total based on all reviews and reports gathered for the preferences shown.
